In the way: each model or obstruction in the way makes the shot pass a D6 test first: 1-3 hits the obstruction and the shot is lost, 4-6 gets past. A shot passes this once per item in the way, before it rolls to hit.
To hit: each shot rolls a D6 and hits if it equals or beats the shooter's Shoot value (its Sv). Moving gives -1 to hit, so a Shoot of 3+ becomes 4+ (never worse than 6+).
To wound: the same wound chart as the Combat Calculator, but the Strength comes from the weapon, not the model. A natural 1 still fails to wound. The wound modifier adds to or takes from the roll.
Might: the shooter can spend Might on to-hit and wound rolls, just enough to turn a miss into a success while any is left. Hit rolls get Might first.
Fate: each wound the target would take can be saved on a 4+, using one Fate point per roll, until the target runs out of Fate.
Kill: the target dies when it takes as many unsaved wounds as it has Wounds.
